Letters and Opinions

These are opinion pieces that I have had published in a variety of newspapers and magazines. I have been writing letters-to-the-editor since 2006, and have had over 160 published since then. I also play guitar and sing in a musical revue called The Loser's Lounge. With a cast of guest singers, we perform tributes to great songwriters and bands. The show is in its 24th year, and we perform at Joe's Pub - The Public Theater and Lincoln Center in New York City.

amNY printed this scary letter on October 7, 2008:
Barack Obama spoke prophetically when he warned voters in July that the McCain team would "try to... make you scared of me. You know, he's not patriotic enough." With a month left in the campaign, Sarah Palin has done just that by claiming that Obama is "palling around with terrorists" and stating, "This is not a man who sees America like you and I see America." Palin is clearly counting on an America easily manipulated by fear and falsehoods. I, for one, am glad that Obama does not share Palin's cynical view.

It's always helpful to consult the dictionary when you are unsure of a definition. Metro printed this excerpt on October 3, 2008.
